Patty Walters of AS IT IS joins CrazyEightyEight

Patty Walters has been the lead vocalist of UK pop punk band AS IT IS since 2012, when he formed the band. Prior to being in the band, Patty was a youtube icon who made covers, and sit down videos discussing music.

Over twitter, Patty had been teasing his followers all week about some big news that he had been waiting to share. On Friday, he finally announced that he is playing bass in the CrazyEightyEight. He seems to be very excited about it, as he mentioned on his twitter: "Thank you so much Jarrod Alonge & Lauren Babic for welcoming me into such a unique and exciting project. I look forward to making dank af music with both of you".

We think this will be a refreshing change for Patty, and something different for him.

Since he is an all around musician, we believe he appreciates the fact that he will be playing an instrument in this band.

For all the AS IT IS fans out there, no need to worry because they are definitely not stopping here. They have UK and EU tours lined up for this year, and are already in the process of recording their next record. For further reassurance that this is true, check out this tweet Patty posted: "A friendly reminder, I am still in AS IT IS. We're currently recording the sickest record of all time. We'll still keep touring the world with the relentless force of a meteor on cocaine. Nothing changes, nothing slows down"
