"Conscience" by Eat Your Heart Out- A step in the right direction!

Eat Your Heart Out is an upcoming band signed to Fearless Records. They are a female fronted band, with Caitlin Henry (vocals) as their front woman. Their most recent EP “Mind Games” was released December 1st, 2017. With almost two months of this EP being listened to by the public, it’s safe to say that this band has gained a lot more attention because of it. The one song in particular we want to discuss today is track 3- Conscience. From the moment we heard this song, it gave us early Paramore vibes which is why we loved it so much.

Caitlin’s vocals in this song are extremely powerful, without her having to try too hard. It has an extremely catchy chorus which is constantly stuck in our heads, and overall why the song is so fun to listen to. This song also features Patrick Miranda of Movements, also signed to Fearless Records. We believe this was the perfect feature for this song. The combination of Caitlin and Patrick’s voices together are what tie this song together very nicely. Not only does it add to the song, but we believe it was also a smart move. Movements are a band that blew up in 2017, and are only going up from here. Patrick Miranda is also a very liked and well-known individual in the pop punk/alternative scene, which of course will attract more attention to the song if listeners know he’s featured in it. Overall, we are excited to see what else Eat Your Heart Out has in store.
